Senior Commercial Leadership Opportunity in Financial Events

Join a leading specialist financial events agency dedicated to delivering impactful experiences for global financial institutions, private equity, venture capital firms, and corporate entities. Operating across key financial hubs including Paris, London, New York, and Toronto, the business is built on unrivalled expertise and flawless execution. Core services encompass AGMs, Investor and Capital Market Days, LP Forums, Company Milestones, Retreats, and customized design services.

Role Overview

This senior commercial leadership role bridges hands-on account management, high-value business development, and strategic team leadership. You will take ownership of top-tier clients, manage end-to-end sales pipelines, drive revenue, and elevate an established market presence across Europe and North America. The position offers a clear path for career growth and leadership development, with progression to leadership following the achievement of agreed goals.

Key Responsibilities

  • Account Management & Client Retention: Own and expand key accounts, serving as the first contact for enterprise accounts (IR, Communications, PE/VC partners) and uncovering opportunities to up/cross-sell to deliver greater value.
  • New Business Pipeline Ownership: Lead the end-to-end sales cycle, from qualification of high-value inbound leads to pitching, contract negotiation, and closing.
  • Client Presence: Be on-site and face-to-face with clients to increase engagement at all stages, attend key industry events, and drive marketing initiatives that build brand presence.
  • Networking: Nurture relationships with strategic partners, including PR agencies, legal, and financial services firms.
  • Project Leadership & Commercial Delivery: Track progress, budgets, and post-event feedback.

Required Experience and Expertise

  • Sustained, proven experience in business development, account management, or commercial leadership within financial events, corporate communications, or private equity/VC ecosystems.
  • Deep familiarity with the financial services ecosystem, particularly Private Equity, Venture Capital, Investor Relations, and Asset Management.
  • Proven ability to qualify prospects, draft winning proposals, manage multi-tier accounts, and consistently deliver profitability.
  • Clear ambition to assume full ownership of global revenue growth, account management, and team management.
  • Native or professional fluency in English is a must; French language proficiency is strongly preferred.

Benefits and Culture

  • Competitive annual salary of £60,000 to £70,000 plus a performance-related bonus.
  • Remote-first working arrangement with equipment, broadband, and training & development allowances.
  • Private healthcare coverage.
  • A values-driven environment combining trust, collaboration, pace, structure, and excellence in delivery.
