This role involves designing and implementing automation solutions, ensuring compliance with GxP standards, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver successful project outcomes. The position is based on-site in VISP, Switzerland, and offers a 1-year contract with the possibility of extension. To be considered for this role, you must have the right to work in this location or hold an EU passport.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement Emerson DeltaV automation solutions for CAPEX projects.
• Configure control strategies, system interfaces, graphics, alarms, and process automation applications within the DeltaV environment.
• Prepare and maintain GxP-compliant engineering and validation documentation.
• Support the integration of DeltaV systems with process equipment, PLCs, utility systems, MES, and other plant systems.
• Execute and document testing, commissioning, qualification, and startup activities, including FAT, SAT, IQ, and OQ.
• Troubleshoot and resolve automation, communication, and control system issues throughout the project lifecycle.
• Ensure compliance with GMP, data integrity, change management, and validation requirements.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Operations, Validation, Quality, and Project teams to achieve project goals.

Key Skills and Requirements

• Degree in Automation Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
• Hands-on experience with Emerson DeltaV system engineering and configuration.
• Proficiency in developing and maintaining GxP documentation in regulated industries.
• Knowledge of commissioning, qualification, and validation processes.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Experience working within CAPEX project environments.
• Fluency in German is required; English proficiency is preferred.
