Master Data Governance and Scientific Data Curation

Join a remote team for a six-month engagement, with the potential for extensions, to drive excellence in data stewardship. This role focuses on the curation, governance, and harmonization of complex scientific datasets, leveraging advanced AI tools to ensure data quality and consistency.

Key Responsibilities

• Apply minimum three years of experience in data curation, master data governance, data quality, or data harmonization.
• Utilize a strong understanding of chemical and scientific data, including metadata, normalization, and unit conversions.
• Execute data profiling, text clustering, duplicate identification, and comprehensive data quality assessments.
• Employ basic Python scripting skills to support data analysis and automation tasks.
• Apply mandatory hands-on experience with Large Language Models (LLMs) and AI-assisted tools for data analysis, classification, and harmonization.
• Validate AI-generated outputs to ensure scientific accuracy and data consistency.
• Demonstrate strong analytical thinking, meticulous attention to detail, and robust documentation skills.

Qualifications

• Hold an MSc or PhD in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Materials Science, or a related scientific field.
• Benefit from familiarity with Electronic Laboratory Notebooks (ELN), Laboratory Information Management Systems (LIMS), or Research and Development (R&D) data-management platforms.
