You will take end-to-end ownership of bound transactions, ensuring accurate policy administration and systems entry while coordinating with key internal functions including Underwriting, Claims, and Finance. Reporting to the Global Head of Deal Services, you will contribute to portfolio-level oversight and proactively drive improvements in underlying processes to enhance team effectiveness and efficiency.

What You'll Do

  • Take ownership of a portfolio of bound ART transactions, including the onboarding of new transactions and monitoring of associated processes and evolving needs

  • Coordinate with Finance colleagues on booking activity and support cash management and tracking activities across functions
  • Collaborate with Claims colleagues on overall deal management, ensuring seamless cross-functional alignment
  • Communicate proactively and respond in a timely manner to brokers and clients; support Credit Control as required
  • Perform Know Your Customer (KYC) checks for new transactional counterparties and control complete and accurate binding activities
  • Execute administrative tasks related to policy and other documentation; ensure accurate representation of policies in relevant systems for tracking and booking purposes
  • Prepare quarterly controls for your assigned portfolio, covering all transactional aspects; proactively review and resolve outstanding items within quarterly cycles
  • Contribute to portfolio-level monitoring and oversight beyond your direct portfolio, supporting the broader Deal Services team
  • Independently support assigned projects, contributing to process improvement initiatives that enhance team efficiency and effectiveness
  • Provide coaching, guidance, and day-to-day support to more junior team members, sharing knowledge and best practices to strengthen overall team capability

What You'll Bring

  • 5-7 years of experience in insurance operations, operational underwriting, or insurance accounting/finance
  • A background in Finance/Accounting is essential, including a solid understanding of accounting principles, financial reporting, and booking processes as they apply to insurance transactions
  • Knowledge of insurance business, including operational underwriting and finance fundamentals
  • Experience working with underwriting support tools, document management systems, tracking and reporting tools, and system entry recording
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office tools; high affinity for digital topics and advanced uses of technology in insurance operations and deal services
  • Data protection knowledge, particularly in relation to information acquisition and transfer in an insurance context
  • Knowledge of applicable laws and jurisdictions relevant to insurance operations
  • Strong problem-solving skills; reliability and creativity when analyzing relevant information and managing complex, multi-stakeholder tasks
  • Excellent communication, influencing, and relationship management skills - able to engage effectively with internal stakeholders and external counterparties including brokers and clients
  • Conscientious, flexible, and resilient; capable of managing conflict and working effectively in a team-oriented, service-focused environment
  • Degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or a related field
  • Familiarity with AI-powered tools or data analytics platforms to support portfolio tracking, reporting, and operational workflows is a plus
