Overview of Opportunities

We are collaborating with a reputable professional services organization recognized for its strong advisory and transaction services. This firm partners with a diverse array of clients, including entrepreneurial businesses and corporate entities, to offer high-quality advice throughout the transaction lifecycle.

Role and Responsibilities

In this senior position within the Deal Advisory team, you will:

  • Lead Financial Due Diligence (FDD) assignments across a variety of sectors and transaction types.
  • Manage the complete delivery of FDD engagements, from initial planning through to final completion.
  • Analyze historical and projected financial performance, examining aspects such as revenue, profitability, cash flow, working capital, and net debt.
  • Identify key financial risks, opportunities, and commercial considerations arising from your analyses.
  • Prepare and review high-quality FDD reports and materials for clients and investors.
  • Develop and lead project teams, offering coaching and technical guidance.
  • Manage relationships with clients, management teams, private equity investors, and other advisors.
  • Collaborate closely with corporate finance, tax, legal, and other professional advisors throughout transaction processes.
  • Present findings and key conclusions to senior stakeholders and investment teams.
  • Effectively manage project budgets, timelines, and deliverables.
  • Support the development of new business opportunities and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective clients.
  • Contribute to the evolution of the FDD proposition and wider Deal Advisory offerings.
  • Mentor and develop junior team members, enhancing their skills and professional growth.

Ideal Candidate Profile

  • Holds an ACA, ACCA, or equivalent professional qualification.
  • Possesses extensive experience in Financial Due Diligence or Transaction Services, preferably in a Big 4 or strong mid-tier accountancy firm.
  • Operates at a Senior Manager or Director level, or is ready to ascend to that role.
  • Exhibits a strong technical understanding of financial statements and transaction-related analyses.
  • Demonstrates proven leadership in FDD assignments and team management.
  • Shows strong comprehension of transaction processes and private equity or corporate investor requirements.
  • Displays excellent commercial awareness and effective communication skills.
  • Is adept at managing multiple projects and stakeholders concurrently.
  • Possesses a keen interest in business development and networking.
  • Embraces a collaborative leadership style, committed to developing teammates.
