About the Role

Join a dynamic team at the intersection of hardware and software, where your expertise will be pivotal in developing seamless and reliable diagnostic products. In this collaborative and multidisciplinary environment, you will act as a key point of contact for complex mechatronic issues, ensuring system integrity and quality through innovative solutions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Driving System Integration & Integrity: Lead the integration of hardware and software modules, ensuring cohesive performance.
  • Hardware Parametrization & Firmware Interaction: Define critical parameters, configure and program test software, optimizing for performance.
  • Proactive Robustness & Endurance Testing: Design and execute advanced electromechanical test setups, targeting lifetime reliability and exploring system limits.
  • Transforming Data into Insight: Analyze complex data logs and supervise parameters to derive actionable improvements.
  • Collaborative Troubleshooting & Root-Cause Analysis: Manage the discovery and resolution of mechatronic issues through deep collaboration across various teams.
  • Bridge-Building across R&D and Operations: Facilitate the transfer of validated mechatronic designs to manufacturing and service partners globally.

Ideal Candidate Profile

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Systems, or Mechatronics Engineering, or a related discipline.
  • A minimum of five years of practical experience in hardware/software integration, system-level testing, or mechatronic troubleshooting.
  • A strong grasp of mechatronics and experience with scripting or programming in a Linux environment.
  • Experience in regulated industries such as MedTech, Diagnostics, IVD, or GxP is highly regarded.

Your communication style is clear and empathetic, fostering collaboration towards effective solutions. Fluency in English is necessary, with German being a valuable asset for local interactions.
