Senior Leadership Opportunity in Private Banking Compliance

Join a private banking institution to drive excellence in client documentation, KYC controls, and international tax compliance. This role blends strategic team leadership with technical oversight of account lifecycle documentation, complex ownership structures, and relationships with external asset managers and introducers.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate the team's daily activities, allocating work according to expertise, capacity, and priorities.
• Oversee documentation reviews for account openings, updates, and closures, ensuring compliance with applicable regulations and internal policies.
• Assess complex structures, including trusts, foundations, investment funds, holding companies, and multilayer ownership arrangements.
• Ensure consistency between client documentation, KYC information, and records entered by the Front Office.
• Identify missing documentation and discrepancies, providing clear, documented feedback and escalating risks appropriately.
• Oversee applicable CRS/automatic exchange of information, FATCA, Qualified Intermediary (QI), and IFU obligations, including reporting deadlines.
• Oversee the opening and closure of external asset manager and introducer relationships, and the administration and control of related retrocessions.
• Maintain effective operational and regulatory controls and report activity KPIs to senior management.
• Develop team capabilities through coaching, training, and performance management.
• Work closely with internal and external stakeholders, contribute to departmental projects, and identify opportunities for process automation and operational improvement.
