Key Responsibilities

  • Food Compliance:
    • Lead technical projects and provide professional customer support related to materials and compliance in food contact applications.
    • Prepare compliance statements for Food and Beverage products.
    • Communicate effectively with compliance and material specialists, both from our customers and within the supply chain.
    • Collaborate with external laboratories, test institutes, and consultants to meet customer requirements.
    • Evaluate and interpret analytical test results.
  • Cross-departmental Collaboration:
    • Provide expert support for existing and new Food and Beverage products.
    • Assist Production, Quality Management, or Procurement with expert knowledge as needed.

Qualifications

  • Higher education in food chemistry, chemistry, or material science, preferably with professional experience in food compliance.
  • Technical knowledge of materials such as aluminum and lacquers.
  • Ability to tailor communication about complex topics to the audience's needs.
  • Understanding of quality management systems.
  • Knowledge of migration tests and chemical analytics (FT-IR, DSC, TGA, GC-MS, HPLC).
  • Excellent teamwork and communication skills in German and English; proficiency in French is a plus.
  • Strong IT skills, particularly in MS Office and SharePoint.
