The ALBA Sourdough Pizza Experience

ALBA Sourdough Pizza has grown from its origins in Zurich's Kreis 3 into a celebrated multi-location concept known for artisanal sourdough pizza and community-driven hospitality. Our foundation is AULUS, a 160-year-old sourdough starter that fuels our dough and embodies our commitment to craftsmanship and flavor. We work directly with a unique network of producers to import high-quality ingredients, cutting out middlemen to support sustainable food systems. Today, ALBA serves several Zurich neighborhoods, including Wiedikon, Triemli, and Kreis 6, delivering exceptional pizzas and takeout experiences while upholding standards of quality and care.

Your Role

• Embody ALBA Sourdough values by maintaining a warm, smiling, and professional attitude towards guests, supporting colleagues during service, and adopting a problem-solver mindset.
• Co-create new recipes with other chefs.
• Engage in two-way communication with the management team to effectively share needs, ideas, and concerns for continuous improvement.
• Contribute to the smooth running of the cold section.
• Handle mise-en-place and plating for classic Italian-inspired starter dishes, including tartare, burrata with basil oil, and signature buffalo-milk soft serve with olive oil and salt.
• Create exceptional family meals.
• Ensure strict adherence to hygiene standards within the kitchen.

What We Are Looking For

• A radiating smile and great energy with a proactive attitude and team spirit.
• Boundless passion for hospitality, pizza, and Italian-inspired cuisine.
• Previous experience as a Commis Chef.
• Intermediate English skills; Italian is a plus.
• Willingness to learn, take on new responsibilities, and grow with the team.
