Opportunity for a Dedicated Nanny / Housekeeper

We are seeking an experienced, French- or English-speaking individual to assist in caring for a vibrant 4-year-old girl and support household management in Geneva's Florissant area. This position offers a chance to become a valued member of a family that recently relocated from London, fostering an environment of trust and long-term commitment.

Position Details

• Location: Geneva – Florissant area
• Start Date: As soon as possible
• Employment Rate: Full-time (100%)
• Working Days: Monday to Saturday
• Accommodation: Live-in position with private bedroom and bathroom provided
• Languages: French or English

Childcare Responsibilities

The role involves a range of childcare duties, which include:

• Preparing breakfast and overseeing the morning routine
• Transporting the child to and from school
• Caring for her after school
• Organising activities and playdates
• Managing evening routines and ensuring her well-being
• Traveling when required and providing overnight care when necessary
• Taking full responsibility for the child in the absence of the mother

Household Responsibilities

While the child is at school, responsibilities will include:

• General housekeeping and maintaining an inviting home environment
• Preparing and organizing bedrooms
• Managing laundry and daily household tasks
• Meal preparation and family cooking

Candidate Profile

We are looking for someone who:

• Has significant experience caring for young children and as a Housekeeper
• Can provide references from private families
• Has prior experience in a live-in position within a private household
• Is proactive, organized, and thorough in their approach
• Is warm, caring, and kind with children
• Is independent and confident in taking initiative
• Is flexible with working arrangements, especially during the mother's travels
• Speaks either French or English
• Holds valid working documents for Switzerland
• Is comfortable around cats and has no cat allergies

Conditions

Competitive compensation starting at CHF 25 gross/hour, negotiable based on experience and qualifications. The live-in position includes accommodation and meals in accordance with legal provisions.
