This is an individual contributor role with significant quality leadership, customer-facing responsibilities, and cross-functional stakeholder management across multiple satellite programs.

Your Mission

  • Drive Product Assurance and quality requirements across satellite projects throughout the full product lifecycle, from development and qualification to production and delivery.
  • Coordinate Product Assurance activities and act as a key interface for customers and internal stakeholders.
  • Drive risk-based quality assurance activities including Design and Process FMEA, root cause analysis, and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Monitor and report quality performance, product risks, and mitigation measures to project and department leadership.
  • Lead quality reviews, Non-Conformance Review Boards, and Non-Conformance Management, ensuring effective root cause analysis and corrective actions.
  • Collaborate closely with Engineering, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Test, and Project Management to resolve quality issues and drive continuous improvement.
  • Plan Product Assurance milestones, including EQSRs, MRRs, TRRs, DRBs, and support major program and design reviews.
  • Develop audit strategies and support internal, external, customer, and supplier audits.

Your Story

  • A degree in Engineering, Quality, Science, or another technical discipline or equivalent professional experience.
  • Experience in Product Assurance, Quality Engineering, or related quality functions within a highly regulated industry, ideally Space, Aerospace, or Automotive.
  • Strong understanding of complex engineering systems and product development processes.
  • Strong knowledge of Quality Management Systems with hands-on experience in EN/AS9100 and/or ISO 9001.
  • Knowledge of FMEA and risk-reduction methodologies.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder-management skills.
  • Ability to manage competing priorities, lead technical discussions, and take ownership of complex quality topics.
  • Business-fluent English; German is an advantage.
  • Willingness to travel internationally when required.

Nice to Have

  • Experience with integrated digital quality environments, including PLM, ERP, and MES systems (e.g., Teamcenter, SAP S/4HANA, OpCenter).
  • Experience with ECSS standards and Product Assurance requirements in the Space industry.

Why Beyond Gravity

  • Benefit from attractive employment conditions, including contributions to public transport, training and development opportunities, and fully paid maternity/paternity leave.
  • Enjoy flexible working arrangements and at least five weeks of vacation, with the possibility to buy additional vacation.
