We are collaborating with a prominent manufacturing company located in Heanor, Derbyshire, to enhance their dedicated Planning, Inventory, and Logistics team. Key Responsibilities
- Manage daily production schedules and activities across assembly lines and designated manufacturing processes.
- Ensure production plans support on-time customer delivery and satisfaction.
- Maintain accurate production and planning data within SAP and related systems.
- Support SAP management and operation to ensure efficient workflows.
- Optimize work center capacity to enhance production efficiency and resource utilization.
- Communicate scheduling and production information effectively across relevant teams.
- Assist in new product introductions and release-to-production initiatives.
- Identify, resolve, and escalate production and scheduling issues as necessary.
- Contribute to projects and continuous improvement efforts.
- Collaborate with operational teams to address conflicts and maintain production performance.
Key Requirements
- Located in or around Derby or Nottingham.
- Experience in production planning, manufacturing control, scheduling, or inventory management.
- Strong understanding of production processes and data management.
- Proficient in SAP MM, with knowledge of SAP PP and WM being advantageous.
- Previous involvement in new product introduction processes is beneficial.
- Highly organized and analytical, with exceptional numerical skills and attention to detail.
- Process-driven approach with the ability to manage competing priorities and influence stakeholders.
- Positive attitude, strong communication skills, and a collaborative mindset are essential for success.
