SAP Functional Analyst (FI-CA) - S/4HANA & RISE Migration

Join a key partner organization for an eight-month contract opportunity focused on an S/4HANA upgrade and migration to RISE. This full-time role, commencing in October, operates on a hybrid schedule requiring two days per week on-site in Coventry, UK. The position is designed for professionals seeking to drive functional analysis and application support within a complex SAP environment.

Role Responsibilities

• Provide functional analysis and application support within an S/4HANA environment.
• Manage incidents, defects, and minor changes while collaborating closely with business users and external System Integrators (SI).
• Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and integration testing processes.
• Assist with change and release activities, including maintenance.
• Coordinate third-party SAP delivery and manage the SI through the delivery lifecycle.
• Contribute to the S/4HANA upgrade and migration to RISE.
• Analyze issues and support solutions using strong FI-CA functional knowledge, rather than performing hands-on configuration.

Desired Skills and Experience

• Over five years of experience with SAP FICO.
• Strong functional knowledge of SAP FI-CA.
• Experience with SAP S/4HANA environments.
• Proven ability in functional analysis and solution support.
• Experience with root cause analysis.
• Track record of managing incidents, defects, and problem tickets through to resolution.
• Demonstrated stakeholder management experience.
• Experience coordinating minor changes and enhancements.
• Background in supporting UAT and integration testing.
• Experience supporting change, release, and maintenance activities.
• Strong understanding of integrated SAP environments.
• Experience with S/4HANA upgrades or RISE migration is considered an advantage.
