In this dynamic role, you will play a vital part in ensuring the availability, reliability, and continuous improvement of our semiconductor production tool park. Your focus will be on the corrective, preventive, and predictive maintenance of implant equipment while working cross-functionally to enhance safety, productivity, and optimize workflows across the production line.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure maximum uptime of semiconductor production tools through proactive maintenance and troubleshooting of implant equipment.
- Drive continuous improvement in equipment performance, applying workplace safety and efficiency practices aligned with 6S methodology.
- Collaborate closely with maintenance, process, and production teams to achieve performance goals and optimize line efficiency.
- Participate in tool upgrades and modernization projects to enhance tool capability and reliability.
- Maintain accurate and detailed documentation of maintenance activities, equipment status, and system performance.
- Support root-cause analysis and problem resolution for technical issues within the team.
- Train and mentor colleagues in the areas of implant, safety, and best maintenance practices.
- Promote a strong safety culture by ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations, procedures, and documentation.
Qualifications
- Hands-on experience in maintenance of semiconductor production tools.
- Solid understanding of electronics, mechanics, and pneumatics.
- Minimum 3 years of experience with ion implanters (such as AMAT, Nissin, or Axcelis).
- Familiarity with metrology tools for process control (Semilab WT-2000).
- Additional training or expertise in vacuum systems or related technologies is an advantage.
- Completed technical vocational training (e.g., Automation Technician, Electronics Technician, or similar field).
- Willingness to work in shifts is essential.
- Strong team player with a problem-solving mindset, organizational skills, and proficiency in English (German is a plus).
