Senior SAP gATP/AATP Functional Architect

Position Overview

As a key contributor to our upcoming SAP S/4 HANA implementation project, you will take on a pivotal role in advancing functional design and architectural vision, particularly focusing on order fulfilment and supply chain planning.

Key Responsibilities

• Migration Strategy: Lead the transition from legacy SAP APO-gATP to SAP S/4HANA AATP, defining the target functional architecture and implementation roadmap.
• Solution Architecture: Serve as the functional lead, emphasizing an architectural vision to design robust and scalable order fulfilment processes.
• Custom Development Guidance: Utilize your technical background to translate complex business needs into clear functional specifications, guiding development teams on custom enhancements.

Qualifications and Expertise

• gATP / AATP Expertise: Extensive functional and architectural experience in SAP gATP (APO) with a focus on S/4HANA Advanced Available-to-Promise (AATP).
• Process Knowledge: Profound understanding of Sales & Distribution (SD) process flows and logistics integration points.
• Planning Background: Strong foundation in Supply Chain Planning concepts including demand planning, supply planning, and capacity constraints.
• Niche Knowledge Areas: Experience in configuring Alternative-Based Confirmation (ABC), Product Allocation & Rationing, Advanced Scheduling, and Advanced Intercompany (ICO).
• Technical/Development Acumen: A solid programming background to effectively design solutions, understand code, and guide ABAP/extensibility efforts.

Language Proficiency

Fluency in both English and German is essential for effective communication and collaboration in this role.

Work Environment

This opportunity is remote, with occasional travel required for workshops and go-lives.

Contract Duration

The initial contract is set for a duration of six months, with the possibility of extension based on project needs.
