Software Engineer

Design, Build, and Maintain Enterprise-Grade Internal Tooling

Join a team in Krakow to support Future State Architecture (FSA) initiatives across CTO Platforms. This role focuses on developing backend services and APIs, integrating applications with PostgreSQL and other enterprise data sources, and creating robust internal tooling.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain internal tooling that supports Future State Architecture (FSA) initiatives.
• Develop backend services and APIs for CTO Platforms.
• Integrate applications with PostgreSQL and other enterprise data sources.

Required Expertise

• Strong software engineering expertise using Node.js and/or Java.
• Experience designing and developing enterprise backend services and APIs.
• Strong PostgreSQL experience, including data modelling and query optimisation.
• Experience with modern JavaScript/TypeScript-based UI frameworks.
• Knowledge of Agentic AI and Autonomous AI Agent orchestration.
• Experience implementing MCP (Model Context Protocol).
• Experience with Tool Calling and Function Calling integration patterns.
• Strong API Design and Integration experience.
• Solution Design and Architecture experience for enterprise platforms and tooling.
• Experience building internal engineering platforms and developer tooling.

Role Details

• Freelance role with an initial 6-month contract and possibility of extensions.
• Hybrid working arrangement: 2-3 days on-site in the Krakow office.
