About the Role
This position offers a unique chance for a skilled pharmacy technician with hands-on sterile compounding experience to thrive in a structured, quality-focused setting. We are seeking individuals with experience in hospital, infusion, oncology, 503A, or 503B compounding to join our team.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare, weigh, mix, and compound sterile pharmaceutical products using approved procedures.
- Work within controlled cleanroom environments, including ISO 5 and ISO 7 areas.
- Employ aseptic technique in accordance with USP <797>, cGMP, FDA, and internal quality requirements.
- Operate and monitor compounding and filling equipment effectively.
- Complete batch records, manufacturing documentation, and inventory records accurately.
- Inspect materials, equipment, and finished preparations to maintain quality standards.
- Maintain clean, organized work areas and adhere to established cleaning procedures.
- Manage product inventory, supplies, and materials efficiently.
- Follow all standard operating procedures and safety requirements while meeting production timelines.
Skills and Requirements
- Active Pharmacy Technician registration in good standing.
- Hands-on sterile compounding experience.
- Strong knowledge of aseptic techniques and cleanroom practices.
- High school diploma or GED.
- Exceptional attention to detail with the ability to follow intricate procedures.
- Able to work accurately in a fast-paced, highly regulated environment.
- Capacity to stand for extended periods and lift up to 30 pounds.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with 503B sterile compounding.
- Background in hospital, oncology, infusion, or pharmaceutical manufacturing environments.
- Knowledge of USP <797>, USP <800>, cGMP, and FDA requirements.
- PTCB certification.
Compensation and Benefits
