We are seeking an experienced mechanical engineer to take on a pivotal role in leading a new team at the interface between product engineering and factory operations. This opportunity encompasses both leadership and hands-on operational work, fostering an exciting international work environment focused on excellence and innovation.

Key Responsibilities

• Build and lead a new team of 2–3 engineering support specialists.
• Ensure timely engineering decisions on non-conformance and deviation reports to uphold high product quality standards.
• Provide technical key account support and product expertise for global product license holders and manufacturing partners, primarily in Asia.
• Define and manage relevant KPIs in collaboration with stakeholders from supply chain quality and factory operations.
• Review and enhance current global engineering support processes.

Your Background

• University degree in mechanical engineering, industrial engineering, or a related field.
• Demonstrated people leadership experience with a minimum of five years in industrial engineering, manufacturing, or supply chain quality.
• Certified Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or equivalent experience in implementing lean projects is advantageous.
• Fluency in English is required; proficiency in German is a plus.
• Strong team player with effective communication and change management skills.
• Chinese cultural awareness and language skills are beneficial, as the role interacts with a strong China interface.
