Join a leading pharmaceutical company to support sales and account management activities within the diagnostics field, with a specific focus on cellular pathology and cancer pathways. This role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive commercial success and secure contracts.
Primary Responsibilities
- Develop and execute strategic strategies in collaboration with cross-functional teams, such as IT specialists, managed service teams, and product specialists.
- Manage a sales territory within the West Midlands or Wales, ensuring effective engagement with clients and stakeholders.
- Support pathology procurements and tenders within the NHS, working closely with internal and external teams.
- Utilize digital sales engagement tools, including CRM systems and data analytics, to enhance commercial performance and overcome barriers to adopting new diagnostic solutions.
- Provide expertise and insights into cellular pathology and cancer pathways to support client needs and sales objectives.
Skills & Requirements
- Degree-qualified in Life Sciences or a related discipline, or equivalent industry experience, such as a background as a Biomedical Scientist.
- Strong knowledge of cellular pathology, oncology, and the biological mechanisms underpinning cancer development.
- Practical experience working within a cellular pathology laboratory environment would be advantageous.
- Familiarity with tissue diagnostics solutions, including Roche Tissue Diagnostics products or comparable technologies from competing manufacturers.
- Demonstrated experience managing a defined sales territory, with exposure to NHS procurement processes, pathology purchasing frameworks, and tender submissions.
- Proven track record of working cross-functionally to support and secure high-value commercial agreements and large-scale contracts.
- Competent in leveraging digital sales technologies, including CRM platforms and data-driven reporting or analytics tools.
- Previous experience supporting or utilising Roche Tissue Diagnostics platforms and associated solutions is desirable.
