Senior VMware VCF Engineer

Join a large-scale private cloud environment in a highly hands-on role focused on VMware Cloud Foundation, networking, automation, and Kubernetes technologies. This position is a 6-month initial contract with extension possibilities, requiring 2-3 days of onsite presence in the office.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage, support, and troubleshoot VMware Cloud Foundation (VCF).
• Work extensively with vSphere and NSX across enterprise infrastructure.
• Support complex networking environments including VLANs, routing, switching, DNS, and IP networking.
• Develop and maintain automation workflows using VMware Aria Automation (vRA) and Aria Orchestrator (vRO).
• Support Kubernetes/container platforms including VKS / VMware Tanzu.
• Perform VMware lifecycle activities including patching, upgrades, and advanced troubleshooting.
• Support incident, change, and operational processes within a large enterprise environment.
• Work closely with infrastructure, networking, and platform teams to continuously improve the private cloud platform.

Key Requirements

• Strong hands-on experience with VMware Cloud Foundation (VCF).
• Strong experience with vSphere and NSX.
• Excellent understanding of traditional networking concepts.
• Experience with vRA / vRO / VMware Aria Automation.
• Hands-on exposure to VKS, Tanzu, or Kubernetes platforms.
• Experience supporting large-scale enterprise VMware environments.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Fluent spoken and written English.
• Swedish citizenship is mandatory.
• Ability to start within a short notice period.
