Key Responsibilities

• Assist the Warehouse Manager in overseeing daily warehouse operations.
• Supervise and lead a team of warehouse operatives to ensure effective handling of goods from receipt to dispatch.
• Maintain high operational standards while providing hands-on support to the team as needed.

Essential Qualifications

• Experience in warehousing, logistics, or distribution, preferably in a supervisory or team leader capacity.
• Strong leadership abilities, with a focus on motivating and guiding team members.
• Hands-on approach and willingness to assist during peak operational periods.
• Comprehensive understanding of warehouse processes, including goods-in, storage, picking, packing, and dispatch.
• Solid knowledge of health and safety practices within a warehouse setting.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Proficient in using IT systems, including Warehouse Management Systems (WMS).
• Ability to prioritize workload and adapt to shifting operational needs.
• Experience in a technical or engineering-related product environment, such as heating, cooling, renewable energy, or electrical equipment.
• Health & Safety qualification (IOSH or NEBOSH preferred).
• Forklift license or experience with material handling equipment (MHE).

• Rotating shift pattern covering 6:00 am to 10:00 pm.
