Join a dedicated team in Essex, UK, for a 12-month engagement focused on building and optimizing robust data solutions. This role requires a full-time, onsite presence to drive the development of a modern data lakehouse architecture. Working within an Inside IR35 framework, you will play a pivotal part in ensuring data integrity, security, and performance across the organization's cloud environment.

Core Responsibilities and Expertise

Leverage over five years of data engineering experience to design and implement scalable solutions. Your primary focus will be on hands-on management of the AWS Data Lakehouse, utilizing a comprehensive suite of AWS services to streamline data processing and analytics.

• Architect and maintain data pipelines using AWS S3, Glue, EMR, Athena, Redshift, and Lake Formation.
• Develop complex data models and ETL/ELT pipelines with proficiency in SQL, Python, and PySpark.
• Implement best practices for data governance, security, and quality assurance.
• Utilize dbt to enhance data transformation workflows and reporting capabilities.

This position demands a deep understanding of cloud-native data engineering principles, ensuring that all systems are secure, efficient, and aligned with business objectives.
