Key Responsibilities
- Oversee biological material processing, registration, shipment, returns, verification activities, retrievals, and inventory searches in a validated environment.
- Manage biorepository projects from start to finish, ensuring timely fulfillment of customer specimen requests.
- Collaborate with permitting agencies, import/export compliance teams, and local safety and biorepository teams to meet permit requirements.
- Maintain compliance with established processes, including documentation, sample data review, and securing accurate and complete datasets.
- Ensure accuracy, quality, and timeliness of deliverables while adapting to changing priorities.
- Interface effectively with internal and external stakeholders to establish timelines and achieve project goals.
- Utilize validated laboratory information management systems (LIMS) compliant with GxP principles and standards.
Essential Skills and Requirements
- Degree in Life Sciences (Bachelor's or Master's) with relevant experience in sample acquisition, data management, or biobanking.
- Hands-on experience handling biological specimens, including potentially infectious materials.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and Google Suite; experience with LIMS or other validated systems is essential.
- English proficiency at a minimum B2 level; German language skills are a plus.
- Hepatitis vaccination is required.
- Ability to lift 10-15 kg as part of the role.
- Strong attention to detail, with a focus on biospecimen traceability and regulatory compliance.
- Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects in a dynamic environment.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills for collaboration with diverse stakeholders.
- Right to work in this location or hold an EU passport.
Preferred Experience
- Experience in research, diagnostics, pharmaceuticals, CROs, or the medical device industry.
