Join a Leading Aviation Safety and Compliance Team
We are excited to present an opportunity within a prestigious organization specializing in the maintenance and repair of aviation safety and survival equipment, located near Charles de Gaulle Airport, Paris. We are seeking a dedicated Compliance Officer to enhance our Quality, Safety, and Compliance initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage daily regulatory compliance activities under Part-145 and Part-IS, with liaison to Authorities on routine matters.
- Maintain, review, and revise the Maintenance Organization Exposition (MOE) and internal procedures.
- Operate and continuously improve the Compliance Monitoring Programme.
- Plan, coordinate, and follow up on audits, both external and internal.
- Lead Root Cause Analysis (RCA) efforts and supervise Corrective and Preventive Actions (CA/PA).
- Prepare quarterly safety performance reports for the organization.
- Implement and maintain the Safety Management System (SMS) at the site level.
- Support the management of the Information Security Management System (ISMS) in accordance with Part-IS, as applicable.
- Oversee technical documentation and maintenance data control.
- Manage supply approval and monitoring, ensuring consistent oversight.
- Handle customer complaints and warranty investigations professionally.
- Supervise and support Quality Assistant(s)/Engineer(s), providing guidance and coaching.
Strategic Development
- Plan and organize safety and quality training initiatives at the site level.
- Promote a culture of safety and quality awareness throughout the organization.
- Advise the management on safety and compliance matters, ensuring effective communication with stakeholders.
- Monitor safety and quality trends in the aviation industry, assessing their implications for the organization.
- Contribute to special projects and continuous process improvements under the guidance of the Accountable Manager.
Candidate Profile
- A proven background in quality, safety, or compliance within an aviation/MRO setting; prior audit experience is highly advantageous.
- Solid understanding of EASA Part-145 and SMS requirements; familiarity with Part-IS is a plus.
- Technical background in MRO, supported by relevant certifications or vocational qualifications.
- Some experience in coordinating or reviewing the work of others, although formal people-management experience is not essential.
- Fluent in both written and spoken French and English.
Additional Information
The position offers a competitive salary range of 50-60K€, with the possibility of one day of remote work each week.
