EXPERIENCED NANNY – ENGLISH OR GERMAN SPEAKING – FULL-TIME PERMANENT POSITION – ONEX starting December 2026

Position Overview

An opportunity has arisen for a nurturing and experienced individual to provide dedicated care for a young child in a welcoming family environment. Located in Onex, this role is designed for someone who possesses the qualities of reliability, warmth, and independence, ensuring a smooth transition for the family as they prepare for the return of the mother to work.

Working Schedule

The expected working hours are as follows:

• Monday, Wednesday & Friday: 7:45 am – 5:30 pm
• Tuesday & Thursday: 8:00 am – 5:00 pm

It is essential to note that on Tuesday mornings, the individual will accompany the child to her activity at a local German School, utilizing public transport for the journey.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide attentive day-to-day care for the infant, prioritizing her safety, well-being, and daily routines.
• Organize and facilitate age-appropriate play, outings, and activities that support developmental growth.
• Prepare and provide meals and snacks tailored to the child’s needs.
• Ensure the child’s hygiene, comfort, and cleanliness of her belongings and spaces.
• Accompany the child on outings and journeys via public transport.
• Maintain professional and smooth communication with the parents, ensuring consistency in the child's routines.

Desired Qualifications

• Proven experience in caring for infants within private family settings.
• Demonstrated qualities of warmth, attentiveness, reliability, punctuality, and independence.
• Strong understanding of the needs and routines of young children.
• Comfortable using public transport while attending to a child.
• Fluency in either German or English is essential, with native-level proficiency being a significant advantage.
