As a core member of the product organization, you will help build the digital infrastructure that supports students learning languages at campuses around the world and sales teams operating in more than 50 markets. Core Responsibilities

• Build and Architect: Spend the majority of your time hands-on, architecting and optimizing complex agentic workloads. Focus on reasoning loops, tool selection, and reducing latency while maintaining production-grade security and networking standards.
• Redefine Workflows: Transform the ability to ship meaningful projects by implementing processes that allow for rapid testing, immediate results, and seamless iteration.
• Integrate AI Strategically: Identify opportunities where Large Language Models (LLMs) can improve experiences for students and staff. Build initial versions and establish evaluation frameworks to measure effectiveness.
• Collaborate with Product and Design: Participate in discovery from day one. Bring prototypes rather than estimates, challenge the value of proposed features, and share ownership of the final outcome.
• Lead Through Influence: Set technical direction, review and unblock other engineers, and disseminate efficient workflows to increase team velocity without managing headcount.
• Maintain Quality Standards: Determine when AI-generated output meets quality benchmarks. Own testing, security, and privacy for systems handling student data across multiple jurisdictions.

Required Qualifications

• Five or more years of software engineering or technical delivery experience, including at least one production system you can detail.
• Experience with AI technology stacks, full-stack development, or working with frontier Large Language Models (LLMs).
• Concrete evidence of using AI creatively to build faster, differently, or to create solutions that would not otherwise exist.
• Strong product judgment, demonstrated by changing product decisions through evidence and understanding user and business value.
• A track record of leading as an individual contributor, setting direction, raising standards, and solving complex problems.
• Breadth across the tech stack with specific depth in building with LLMs.
• Clear, direct communication skills with non-engineers, including teams in different markets and time zones.
• Experience shipping LLM features to users, including evaluation, retrieval over company data, and managing cost and latency.

Preferred Experience

• Background in consumer booking, e-commerce, or mobile products at scale.
• Experience in companies where product requirements vary by market.
