Lead Security Architect

Support an international client in strengthening the Security Architecture and Application Security of their IT systems in response to evolving cybersecurity threats. This role involves acting as the Lead Security Architect, owning the overarching Security Architecture direction, and driving its coordinated implementation.

Key Responsibilities

• Translate security requirements into actionable architecture guidance and guardrails
• Define and implement Security Architecture Use Cases, use-case blueprints, and POCs
• Align Security Architecture with Corporate Information Security requirements, Enterprise Architecture, and technology roadmaps
• Coordinate architectural interfaces
• Oversee risk-based architecture reviews for major changes and important designs
• Monitor relevant technology and cybersecurity developments
• Align stakeholders and facilitate decisions
• Drive continuous improvement

Required Qualifications

• Long-term project experience as a Lead Security Architect
• Experience with cybersecurity threats
• Zero Trust Architecture project experience
• Long-term project experience across Cloud, Application, Identity, Data, and Infrastructure Security
• Enterprise Architecture Security experience
• Security Governance Architecture experience
• Experience in designing Security Architecture for large international organisations
• Stakeholder Management and Risk Management skills

Preferred Experience

• Experience in the manufacturing area

Project Details

• Start: October or November (December possible)
• Duration: 12 months
• Workload: 5 days per week
• Location: Remote with on-site presence at least once per month in Germany and/or Poland
• Languages: Fluency in English; German is a plus
