Lead Global Financial Governance and Entity Control

Join the Essential Products Business (EssCo) within Animal Nutrition & Health (ANH) to play a pivotal role in a significant corporate transformation. As one of two standalone entities emerging from the divestment to CVC Capital, EssCo is seeking a seasoned financial leader to drive excellence in financial planning, reporting, and compliance. This role offers a unique opportunity to shape the Commercial Legal Entity Controlling function across a global organization while ensuring robust financial integrity for the Swiss Principal Legal Entity.

Key Responsibilities

• Own full financial responsibility for the Swiss Principal Legal Entity, ensuring accurate financial reporting, compliance, and financial integrity.
• Manage the balance sheet, perform reconciliations, and ensure the accuracy and completeness of group and statutory financial statements.
• Ensure that services agreed upon with Financial Shared Services and external providers meet required quality and performance standards.
• Provide guidance and oversight on complex accounting matters, including journal entries, provisions, accruals, and period-end closing activities.
• Lead and coordinate the Commercial Legal Entity Controlling function globally, driving standardization, governance, continuous improvement, and capability development.
• Provide evidence for the Internal Control Framework and drive the timely remediation of control deficiencies and audit findings.
• Partner closely with Finance Business Partners, Tax, Treasury, Shared Services, external auditors, and regulatory authorities to ensure effective financial governance.

Qualifications and Experience

• 8+ years of experience in Legal Entity Controlling, Accounting, Audit, or Finance leadership roles within multinational organizations.
• Proven leadership experience managing international finance teams and influencing senior stakeholders across complex organizations.
• Strong expertise in IFRS, statutory reporting, internal controls, legal entity governance, and multi-jurisdiction compliance.
• Experience in principal business models, intercompany environments, and finance transformation initiatives, including carve-outs and integrations.
• University degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field; professional accounting qualification (CPA, ACCA, Swiss CPA, or equivalent) is an advantage.
• Strong SAP and financial systems knowledge, combined with excellent communication skills in English and German.
