Key Responsibilities

• Lead, support, and develop a team of Maintenance Engineers.
• Plan and coordinate planned preventative maintenance (PPM) activities.
• Manage reactive maintenance issues to minimize production downtime.
• Support fault finding across mechanical and electrical systems.
• Work closely with production teams to enhance equipment reliability and efficiency.
• Identify opportunities for continuous improvement and process optimization.
• Ensure compliance with health & safety standards and engineering procedures.
• Support engineering projects, installations, and machinery upgrades.

Ideal Candidate Profile

The successful individual is likely to have:

• Experience in a Maintenance Manager, Supervisor, or Engineering Team Leader role.
• A strong background within a manufacturing environment.
• Experience in industries such as FMCG, Food, Beverage, Plastics, Heavy Engineering, Automotive, or similar fields.
• Strong mechanical and/or electrical fault-finding skills.
• Experience in managing or mentoring engineering teams.
• Knowledge of planned preventative maintenance systems.
• A proactive approach to problem-solving and continuous improvement.
• The ability to thrive in a fast-paced production environment.

This role presents a competitive salary range of £40,000 to £55,000, commensurate with experience, and offers a standard Monday to Friday schedule within a supportive work environment.
