Marketing and Administrative Assistant in Continuing Education

Your Role

As a vital member of the Department of Computer Science (D-INFK) at ETH Zurich, you will support a dynamic education program focused on AI and Digital Technology. This role entails engaging in a variety of marketing, recruitment, and administrative activities designed to enhance a new Master of Advanced Studies (MAS) initiative.

Project Background

The MAS in AI and Digital Technology will target industry managers from diverse educational backgrounds, equipped with at least five years of professional experience. The program aims to furnish participants with fundamental concepts and hands-on experience, enabling them to collaborate effectively with technical teams on AI-related projects.

Responsibilities

In your capacity as the primary support for the program manager, you will:

• Organize and assist in various marketing campaigns and events.
• Develop and revise marketing materials, including web content and brochures.
• Collaborate with internal and external partners, such as marketing agencies.
• Interact with applicants, participants, and lecturers to provide them with information about programs.
• Handle administrative tasks like event organization, data management, and financial coordination.
• Be prepared for occasional evening and weekend work to support events.

Candidate Profile

The ideal candidate will be a team-oriented individual with:

• A completed business education/diploma or Bachelor's degree, preferably in marketing, communications, or a related field.
• At least two years of experience in marketing.
• Proficiency in computer and social media tools, particularly Microsoft Office and LinkedIn.
• Fluency in English; proficiency in German is preferred, with knowledge of other Swiss languages being advantageous.
• Experience with CRM and web analytics tools.
