Platform Engineer

Platform Engineering Opportunity

Join a high-performing engineering team supporting a major European organisation undergoing large-scale cloud platform growth. This fully remote role focuses on building and improving internal platforms, cloud infrastructure, automation tooling, and developer enablement capabilities within a modern AWS environment. You will help engineering teams deploy and operate services at scale.

Key Responsibilities

• Build and operate Amazon EKS environments
• Develop advanced Terraform solutions, including reusable modules and production-grade infrastructure
• Design and maintain CI/CD pipelines
• Utilize strong scripting or programming skills in Python, Go, or similar languages
• Troubleshoot issues across cloud infrastructure, Kubernetes, networking, and deployment pipelines

Required Skills

• Strong commercial experience with AWS
• Proven experience building and operating Amazon EKS environments
• Advanced Terraform expertise
• Experience designing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines
• Knowledge of serverless and event-driven AWS services, including Lambda, SQS, SNS, EventBridge, API Gateway, and DynamoDB
• AWS networking, security, and IAM experience

• AWS Organizations and multi-account environments
• Enterprise-scale platform engineering experience
• Security, governance, and compliance exposure
• Hybrid cloud or on-premise infrastructure experience
• Media, broadcasting, or digital content industry experience
