Position Overview

The role involves the development and application of innovative sample preparation, data acquisition, and data analysis strategies for complex mixtures, including algae-based bio-oils and coked catalysts.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop high-resolution mass spectrometry strategies to enhance resolution, precision, and compound identification.
• Create molecular reaction networks based on experimental data obtained.
• Contribute findings to esteemed international scientific journals.

Candidate Profile

The ideal candidate holds a PhD in Chemistry, Biochemistry, Analytical Chemistry, or Chemical Engineering, with a strong emphasis on analytics. You are a highly motivated and skilled experimentalist, proficient in data analysis. Experience in mass spectrometry and Python programming will be advantageous. Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills are essential, alongside a commendable command of English; proficiency in German is a plus.
