Product Safety Specialist

Opportunity Overview

Key Responsibilities

• Apply and promote risk assessment processes in accordance with EN ISO 12100, ensuring their effective implementation.
• Coordinate the execution of product risk assessments in partnership with the engineering department.
• Ensure adherence to applicable product safety standards, guidelines, and requirements.
• Facilitate communication with customers and external stakeholders regarding product safety and risk assessment matters.
• Identify and evaluate potential risks associated with mechanical, electrical, software, and technical elements.
• Engage in technical discussions and critically assess existing safety solutions.

Ideal Profile

• Diploma in a technical field.
• Several years of experience in an industrial setting, particularly in machinery or heavy-duty equipment.
• Basic knowledge of combustion engine technologies.
• Strong understanding of technical concepts, including technical drawings, mechanical design, and hardware/software development.
• Practical experience with product safety and risk assessment, particularly EN ISO 12100.
• Proficiency in both French and English.
