SAP Integration Suite developer/Engineer

Role Overview

Join an international client team to support software engineering efforts across the SAP Integration Suite. This hands-on delivery role within an Agile team focuses on designing, building, and deploying integration flows using SAP Integration Suite (CPI). You will assist in delivering new integration builds and support the migration of existing PI/PO landscapes to SAP Integration Suite (Cloud Integration/CPI).

Key Responsibilities

• Act as a Software Engineer for the SAP Integration Suite
• Design, build, and deploy integration flows using SAP Integration Suite (CPI)
• Lead or contribute to PI/PO to CPI migration, including assessing existing interfaces, re-platforming iFlows, and validating parity post-migration
• Collaborate with architects and business stakeholders to translate integration requirements into scalable, reusable designs
• Support hybrid landscape integration scenarios, such as cloud-to-cloud and cloud-to-on-premise
• Integrate with event-streaming (Kafka) and microservices (Quarkus) components as part of broader data and integration architecture where applicable
• Provide technical documentation
• Ensure architectural best practice and compliance

Required Qualifications

• More than 4 years of experience with SAP Integration Suite / Cloud Integration (CPI)
• Project experience in building, deploying, and supporting iFlows
• Good knowledge of the integration layer in SAP ECC/ERP (ABAP stack)
• SAP IS-APIM experience for both provider and proxy configuration, including API Keys, OAuth2.0, and SSL
• Experience in PI/PO to CPI migration projects
• Strong understanding of integration patterns: REST, SOAP, IDoc, OData, EDI, and B2B
• Experience with adapters (HTTP, SFTP, ProcessDirect, JDBC, Mail, etc.) and standard/custom mapping (Groovy scripting, XSLT)
• Working knowledge of security artifacts (OAuth, certificates, credential management)
• Project experience with agile delivery models (Scrum/SAFe)

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Kafka and Quarkus
• Familiarity with Kubernetes and containerised deployment of integration components
• Experience in international projects
• Fluency in English

Engagement Details

• Duration: 3 months with an option to extend
• Workload: 5 days per week
• Location: 100% Remote, CET Time zone
