Position Overview

This senior opportunity focuses on fostering strategic relationships at the nexus of finance, investment, philanthropy, and international cooperation. You will engage with influential stakeholders and governmental entities to advance our mission.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement a partnership strategy for the UAE and GCC.
  • Build and nurture trusted relationships with C-level executives and senior decision-makers in institutions.
  • Engage with governmental and semi-governmental institutions, family offices, foundations, institutional investors, and corporations.
  • Identify and pursue strategic partnerships, sponsorships, and institutional funding opportunities.
  • Initiate cross-border cooperation between Switzerland/DACH and UAE/GCC.
  • Support the international development of the DACH Campus for Rare Diseases.
  • Advise the Board on the institutional, financial, and cultural environment of the UAE/GCC.

Qualifications

  • Extensive experience in strategic partnerships, finance, investment, institutional relations, or international business development.
  • Demonstrated professional background within the UAE/GCC region.
  • Proven track record of engaging with C-level and senior institutional stakeholders.
  • Experience working with investors, financial organizations, family offices, foundations, corporations, or government-related stakeholders.
  • A university degree or comparable qualification.
  • Fluency in English, with additional proficiency in Arabic being particularly advantageous.

Preferred Experience

  • In-depth knowledge of institutional frameworks within the UAE/GCC.
  • Experience with family offices and familiarity with finance, investment, sovereign-related, or philanthropic environments.
  • An established professional network in the region.
  • Healthcare experience is a plus, though not required.

What We Offer

This role consists of a 40–50% engagement based in Switzerland, featuring direct collaboration with our Board. You will have international responsibilities and the chance to contribute to building a significant bridge between Switzerland/DACH and the UAE/GCC, particularly in the realm of Rare Diseases and social impact.
