Senior .NET Developer Opportunity

Join a dedicated team to develop and maintain critical integrations with Italian public healthcare systems. This role focuses on building secure SOAP and REST services while implementing robust authentication protocols. You will work primarily remotely with onboarding in Bari, Italy, contributing to a project with an initial duration of five months and the potential for extension.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop applications using C# and the .NET ecosystem
• Build and maintain SOAP/WCF and REST integrations
• Implement security standards including OAuth2, OpenID Connect, SAML, JWT, and mTLS
• Ensure application security and comprehensive testing
• Integrate with specific Italian healthcare services

Required Skills

• 8-10+ years of professional .NET development experience
• Proficiency in C#
• Experience with .NET Framework 4.6 / 4.8, .NET Standard 2.0, and .NET 8+
• Knowledge of SOAP / WCF and REST / HTTP APIs
• Expertise in JWT, OAuth2, and OpenID Connect
• Understanding of SAML
• Experience with X.509 Certificates, including mTLS and XML Digital Signatures
• Familiarity with NUnit, Moq, and FluentAssertions

Preferred Skills

• Knowledge of the Italian Healthcare Domain, including Sogei/Sistema TS, FSE, AIFA, and Electronic Prescriptions
• Experience with regional healthcare integrations
• Familiarity with HL7 / CDA
• Understanding of IHE Profiles (ITI-57, ITI-62)

Additional Qualifications

• Experience with Polly
• Knowledge of LiteDB
• Proficiency in PowerShell
• Familiarity with GitLab CI/CD
• Experience with Docker / .NET Aspire
• Knowledge of SonarQube

Role Details

• Start Date: ASAP
• Project Duration: 5 months (extension possible)
