Role Overview

We are seeking a highly motivated individual to support strategic initiatives and operational excellence programs within a GMP-regulated biotechnology manufacturing environment. This position will entail collaboration with various departments to streamline processes, enhance performance, and drive operational excellence initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Strategy & Continuous Improvement:
    • Identify and implement process improvement initiatives to boost efficiency and performance.
    • Lead Lean, Six Sigma, and Operational Excellence projects across diverse processes.
    • Establish and standardize best practices and governance models for operations.
    • Support strategic planning efforts to align initiatives with organizational goals.
    • Foster a culture of continuous improvement through effective coaching and stakeholder engagement.
  • Performance Management & Digital Enablement:
    • Develop and govern Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to facilitate data-driven decisions.
    • Create dashboards and automated reporting to enhance operational visibility.
    • Analyze performance data for trends and opportunities for improvement.
    • Support initiatives in digital transformation and implement innovative technologies.
    • Translate operational needs into effective digital solutions by collaborating with stakeholders.
  • Operational Planning & Cross-Functional Collaboration:
    • Enhance resource utilization and scheduling adherence through integrated planning.
    • Partner with various teams to execute sustainable improvement initiatives.
    • Facilitate workshops and performance reviews for cross-functional collaboration.
    • Contribute to capacity planning and long-term operational readiness initiatives.
    • Promote knowledge sharing and best practices across the network.
  • Compliance & Quality:
    • Ensure compliance with GMP, EHS, and internal quality standards in all activities.
    • Support the review and approval of GMP documentation.
    • Maintain inspection readiness and ensure alignment of initiatives with quality systems.
    • Advance a safety culture and support EHS initiatives throughout the organization.

Candidate Profile

  • Bachelor's degree in relevant fields such as Industrial Engineering, Data Analytics, or Life Sciences.
  • Several years of experience in Operational Excellence, Continuous Improvement, and related areas.
  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret complex data.
  • Proficiency in developing KPIs, dashboards, and performance reporting frameworks.
  • Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, and GMP regulations.
  • Demonstrated project management and stakeholder management abilities.
  • Professional proficiency in English; knowledge of German is advantageous.

Essential Qualifications

  • Master's degree in relevant fields such as Engineering or Operational Excellence.
  • Lean Six Sigma Green Belt, Black Belt, or equivalent certification.
  • Advanced experience with business intelligence platforms such as Power BI or Tableau.
  • Knowledge of manufacturing planning and performance optimization.
  • Experience in biologics manufacturing or clinical supply environments.
  • Familiarity with automation and digital solutions for operational excellence projects.

Additional Information

Location: Lucerne Area

Contract Duration: 12-months with the potential for extension.

Employment Type: Temporary Staffing

Work Model: 100% Onsite

Working Hours: 40 hours per week
