Position Overview

A global client is seeking a qualified individual to contribute to the enhancement and maintenance of advanced applications. The selected candidate will engage with IIoT solutions and collaborate with various teams to ensure optimal performance and integration of industrial devices.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain applications, including Mashups, Services, Data Shapes, Events, and Subscriptions.
• Create and support integrations utilizing REST APIs, SQL databases, and external systems.
• Provide tiered support (L1/L2/L3), conduct incident management, root cause analysis, and implement performance optimization strategies.
• Oversee application deployments, upgrades, and provide environment support across Development, Quality Assurance, and Production phases.
• Configure and troubleshoot user access, security, monitoring, and overall application health.
• Assist in industrial connectivity efforts using technologies such as Kepware, OPC-UA, MQTT, and PLC integrations.
• Collaborate with business, manufacturing, and cross-functional teams to deliver new enhancements and address issues promptly.

Required Skills

• 5-8 years of hands-on experience with PTC ThingWorx and Kepware.
• In-depth expertise in Mashup Development, Services, JavaScript, REST APIs, JSON, and SQL.
• Experience in application support, maintenance, and resolving production issues.
• Knowledge of ThingWorx security protocols, deployment procedures, and performance tuning.
• Familiarity with ThingWorx Navigate, Kepware, and Windchill integration.

Location & Security Requirements

Positions are available with a minimum of 2-3 days onsite in Stevenage, Bolton, or Bristol. Candidates must be UK Nationals due to specific customer environment and security protocols. Preference will be given to those with prior Security Check (SC) Clearance or who are eligible to obtain it.
