Warehouse Operations Specialist (German-speaking)

Join a global market leader in the production and process support of active pharmaceutical ingredients across the chemical and biotechnology sectors. This role is based in Stein, Switzerland, and offers a 6-month contract with the option for extension. As a key member of the logistics team, you will ensure proper goods receipt, storage, and movement within the facility while maintaining strict compliance with industry standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage incoming and outgoing goods, including the evaluation and preparation of data loggers and booking in SAP
• Prepare and stage materials for production, ensuring accurate records are maintained in SAP
• Operate in strict compliance with relevant Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), applicable Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP), and Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) guidelines
• Collect and maintain comprehensive logistics data within the SAP system
• Perform on-call duties for emergency cases, such as freezer alerts or impending production stoppages
• Conduct sampling of raw materials and handle environmental monitoring based on appropriate training

Qualifications and Experience

• Relevant working/residency permit or Swiss/EU citizenship is required
• State-certified training or field of study in logistics (e.g., Logistiker EFZ)
• Business-fluent German, with a good level of English considered an advantage
• Minimum of 2 years of professional experience in warehouse operations, preferably within a GMP-regulated environment
• Demonstrated knowledge of SAP WM/EWM modules, including Inbound, Inhouse, and Outbound processes
• Ability to effectively prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
• Open-mindedness towards new ideas and suggestions, with a flexible and highly motivated approach
