Position Overview
This role offers the opportunity to engage with key data initiatives in a remote setting within the EU for a contract duration of 6 months. The position entails significant responsibilities in managing data assets and ensuring their integrity and governance.
Key Responsibilities
- Own and maintain crucial data elements including metadata, data catalogues, business terms, and classifications.
- Identify and manage Critical Data Elements (CDEs), ensuring proper governance prior to deployment.
- Collaborate with data and technical teams to define and maintain data products and develop data marketplaces.
- Establish data quality thresholds, monitor quality issues, and coordinate their resolution.
- Support data lineage and ownership mapping, along with governance activities.
- Facilitate data governance working groups and assist with data maturity assessments.
- Serve as a liaison between business stakeholders and central data governance teams.
Qualifications
- A degree in a STEM field.
- Experience in business intelligence, analytics, data management, or data engineering is advantageous.
- Understanding of data flows and foundational data modeling concepts.
- Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving capabilities.
- Fluency in English is required.
