Live-Out Nanny and Housekeeper Opportunity in Geneva

BeeBoo is seeking an experienced, reliable, and dynamic professional to join a family in the Geneva Florissant area. This permanent position, representing approximately 45% of full-time hours, focuses on caring for a four-year-old daughter and supporting household organization, primarily over weekends. The role begins on Saturday, 26 September 2026, and requires a candidate who can integrate seamlessly into a two-nanny team structure.

Role Overview and Schedule

The successful candidate will work alongside the family’s main nanny, ensuring continuity in the child’s care and household management. The schedule is designed around weekend availability with an early Monday morning commitment:

• Saturday: Approximately 3:00 pm to 8:00 pm, taking over from the main nanny.
• Sunday: Approximately 8:00 am to 8:00 pm, providing full-day care and household support.
• Monday Morning: 6:30 am to 8:00 am, managing the child’s morning routine and ensuring readiness for the school minibus at 7:20 am.

Candidates must reside in Geneva or the immediate surrounding area to accommodate the early Monday start and weekend schedule. A valid permit or status allowing legal work in Switzerland is required.

Childcare Responsibilities

The primary focus is the well-being and development of a four-year-old girl. Key duties include:

• Managing daily morning and evening routines.
• Preparing meals and snacks.
• Organizing age-appropriate activities, outings, park visits, and educational engagements.
• Ensuring the child’s safety and well-being at all times.
• Preparing the child’s belongings and bedroom as needed.
• Independently managing care when the mother is away.

Household and Team Collaboration

This role combines childcare with general housekeeping duties to maintain a clean and organized home. Responsibilities include:

• General household upkeep, tidying, and laundry management.
• Meal preparation and keeping living areas organized.
• Caring for the family’s cats, including feeding in the morning and evening.

Effective communication is essential for this position. The candidate must work as part of a team with the main nanny, ensuring smooth handovers regarding the child’s routine, meals, activities, laundry, and any specific instructions from the mother. A genuine team spirit and the ability to support one another are highly valued.

Travel and Candidate Profile

Candidates must be available to occasionally accompany the family on travels, particularly within Europe and to mountain destinations. This requires holding a valid passport and having a status that permits such travel.

• Solid experience caring for young children, ideally around four years old.
• Previous experience as a nanny and/or housekeeper in a private family setting.
• A good level of English communication skills.
