Network Engineer

Exciting Opportunity for Network Engineering Professionals

We are looking for a skilled individual to join a dynamic team focused on global connectivity and network operations. This role will support an extensive program aimed at enhancing network solutions and operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

• Support and maintain SD-WAN environments, with a focus on VMware Velocloud.
• Oversee enterprise LAN, WAN, routing, switching, Wi-Fi, VPN, and NAC technologies.
• Operate and troubleshoot large-scale global network environments, accommodating various locations such as offices, retail stores, and warehouses.
• Manage ISP circuits and remote access services, including hybrid connectivity solutions.
• Engage in incident management with a focus on L2/L3 troubleshooting and vendor escalation for major incidents.
• Utilize and administer network monitoring and observability tools.
• Implement and uphold network security best practices and manage configuration hardening.
• Leverage knowledge of Zscaler technologies and Zero Trust access models.
• Familiarize with network administration platforms including DHCP, Radius, and SD-WAN orchestrators.
• Work in global operational support environments with a 24/7 follow-the-sun model.
• Contribute to network automation and operational efficiency initiatives.
• Collaborate directly with ISPs, carriers, and third-party technology vendors.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• A minimum of 5 years experience in Network Engineering or related fields.
• Strong hands-on experience with the aforementioned technologies and environments.
• Excellent communication skills in English.
• Relevant certifications such as CCNP, CCIE, VMware SD-WAN, or Zscaler certifications are advantageous.
• Availability to join at short notice.
• Candidates must be located within Malaysia.
